Castellum – Copenhagen Office

When we designed Castellum’s Copenhagen office, they transitioned from traditional office spaces with rather bland environments to a new office situated at a fantastic address overlooking Copenhagen, boasting ample natural light. Consequently, we opted for a darker interior, featuring black ceilings and dark flooring. While the new office is based on a workplace model, we carefully listened to their needs, ensuring that the open spaces were complemented by the necessary number of rooms. A consistent theme across all Castellum offices is biophilic design, drawing inspiration from nature. We interpreted this through our choice of materials, focusing heavily on tactility to ensure that all surfaces feel natural. Natural elements such as wood grain are visible without resorting to obvious colors and solutions.

Our client was highly professional, and the process unfolded seamlessly. We particularly love the custom-made blue shelf that ties the environment together from the entrance all the way to the kitchen.
